TOURNAMENT
We would like to welcome 18
international teams to the 4th edition of
the Dutch Junior Open. Each team is
guaranteed to play a minimum of 4
games, potential for more depending on
number of entries and results. We have prize money available for the
first and second prize, together with
various other nice prizes! Each team is entitled to one 60 seconds time-out per game,
so don’t forget to bring your coach!
SCHEDULE
First game will start on Friday October
16th at 13:00. The tournament ends with
the prize giving at 18:00 on Sunday
October 18th. During the tournament we
have some events to make your visit
unforgettable.
LOCATION
The event will take place on 3 sheets of ice at the curling rink in Zoetermeer
(see PWA Silverdome Ice Arena
and Curlingbaan Zoetermeer)
SLEEPING PLACE
Local host families will offer teams, with a maximum of 5 players and one coach per team,
a sleeping place during the tournament. Let us know if you need some special requirements
for your stay. We will try to put all team members together at one host family as much as
possible. Please note that you need to bring your own sleeping bag with you. if not,
we will let you know on time!
AIRPORT TRANSFER
We can pick you up from the airport or the train station. Please fill in the information
form on the forms sent to you with the times of arrival and departure! Also a contact phone
number of someone arriving in the group.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fees (€ 150 per team) will be collected at registration in Zoetermeer.
This fee includes meals Dinner Friday and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Saturday & Sunday
ACTIVITIES
On Friday evening we have an official opening ceremony. On Saturday evening we have a tournament
party with lots of music, fun games and special performances. On Sunday evening we have, for any
international team not travelling home till Monday 19th February, some special activities at the
local bowling centre (cost +/- € 12 per team). Please let us know if you are interested!
IMPORTANT TO KNOW!
Each club/association is responsible for their own team members, their flight arrangements,
insurance cover and funding their own team expenses, prior to, during and post the event.
Neither the Bonspiel Management Team or the Hosting Rink or associated helping bodies will
be held responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal belongings of competing
or accompanying participants of this Bonspiel.
